Skye Ranch is Sarasota’s newest up and coming lifestyle neighborhood with beautiful homes and amazing amenities. Located east of I-75 on Clark Rd/State Rd. 72. Skye Ranch will feature two neighborhoods within its larger community of “Skye Ranch.” These gated neighborhoods within Skye Ranch are called Cassia at Skye Ranch and Esplanade at Skye Ranch. Skye Ranch is officially opened for sale as of March 6, 2020.
Cassia at Skye Ranch
Cassia at Skye Ranch is currently offering 17 different floor plans available for purchasing to build within the community. With prices ranging from the low $300’s up to the $700’s, there are a lot of options. The monthly HOA is $140, which includes access to all of the Skye Ranch amenities and maintenance/upkeep of community areas and grounds. Cassia is NOT maintenance free. In addition to the monthly fee, Cassia at Skye Ranch also has a CDD fee which varies from $154 per month up to $197 per month depending on your lot size. So monthly fees to live in Cassia range from $294 per month, up to $337 per month. Skye Ranch offers lifestyle amenities within its beautiful community. Amenities include a 25,000 square foot clubhouse featuring 2 indoor full-sized basketball courts, a fully equipped fitness center, rock climbing, a café, social spaces, a Kidz Zone, and a family friendly resort style pool. Beyond the clubhouse, Skye Ranch will have an amenity park with sports fields. Esplanade at Skye Ranch will have its own clubhouse as well, featuring a fitness center, spa, pickleball, and an adult only pool. Residents of Cassia at Skye Ranch will also have access to this clubhouse, as all of Skye Ranch will share all amenities within its larger community. Throughout Skye Ranch you can also expect to find oaks, palm trees, forested wetlands, and lakes. Planned trails throughout the community will lead to amenities, parks, and nature within Skye Ranch.
Skye Ranch Location
Skye Ranch is located off of Clark Road at the intersection of Clark/State Rd. 72 and Lorraine. Lorraine (previously called Bee Ridge Extension), intersects with Clark Rd, Bee ridge Rd, and Palmer Rd as you drive further North. Lorraine Rd. will eventually open up to make its way all the way up to Fruitville Rd. and then to University Blvd. Skye Ranch is 3 miles east of the interstate on Clark Rd. This upcoming area will soon be booming with new shopping and schools.
Skye Ranch School Zoning
Skye Ranch is currently zoned to three of Sarasota's A rated schools, Lakeview Elementary, Sarasota Middle, and Riverview High. However, there is mention of future plans to build additional Sarasota County schools out east, which may affect rezoning of Skye Ranch in the future.
