East of I-75 is the area of Sarasota that is East of I-75. Defined by Fruitville Rd to its North and Clark Rd to its South. This is both Sarasota County and also runs into Manatee County. Myakka City also makes up a portion of this area.
Area East of I-75
Between the cows, horses, and acres; East of I-75 also remains close to quite a few local favorites. Some of these favorites include: The Big Cat Habitat, The Celery Fields, and Myakka State Park. New shopping plazas and development are popping up East of I-75, however, this area still maintains its rural atmosphere and natural Florida feel.
