Central Sarasota is made up of a lot of neighborhoods, plazas, and main roads throughout. Its made up of residential areas and businesses alike. In some cases, the two being neighbors. Central Sarasota has a little bit of everything. There are neighborhoods with HOA’s. Some of these neighborhoods are gated with amenities and have higher monthly HOA’s, whereas others aren’t gated and have no amenities with a smaller yearly HOA. Then, there are homes with no HOA at all, some of these are on side streets, while others are in named neighborhoods. The neighborhoods further west can be close to downtown and the water, too. In Central Sarasota, just outside of downtown you’ll find a handful of side streets with homes dating back to the 50’s, but also new modern builds.

Location of Central Sarasota

Central Sarasota is North of Clark Rd, East of Tamiami Trail, South of Fruitville Rd, and West of I-75. Its everything smack dab in the middle.

Area of Central Sarasota

Scattered throughout all of Central Sarasota, you’ll find county parks. Playgrounds, walking trails, sand volleyball, and basketball courts. You’ll find businesses, dining, and general proximity to downtown, and the water due to its more central location. Within Central Sarasota, you will also find the Pinecraft Amish Community. The Pinecraft restaurants are a local treasure to Sarasota.
