There are a handful of different ways you can search for homes. Utilize my website to find specific homes you like. You can search by specific neighborhoods, areas, lifestyles, schools, or simply by the qualities you want in a property. I can also send you specific listings that meet your criteria. Signing up for "save searches" is a way to input your criteria and then receive alerts when a property that fits your wishlist comes on the market. And if you're searching for new construction, I've got you covered with all the education you'll need over our phone consultation.
Boots on the Ground
I'll take you around and show you the properties you've selected to see or the new construction communities you want to take a look at. If you're not in town and you find something you love, we can FaceTime the property. I also utilize my drone to help show clients home sites or lots from afar.
Write an Offer
When you're ready to make an offer, I will write and present a written offer to the Seller. And while everyone loves getting their offer accepted right away, the Seller could come back to us with a counteroffer, or reject your initial offer altogether. I'm happy to walk you through each of these possibilities and exactly how to handle them. I will negotiate on your behalf and do all of the communication. Once the offer is accepted, it’s time to get your financing in order to move forward.
Inspections / Appraisals
The appraisal guarantees that the price of the property matches the condition of the property while the inspection makes sure that everything in the home is functioning properly and there are no major issues. I'll recommend inspections and inspectors. After receiving results from an inspection, we may even do some more negotiating.
I will recommend a real estate attorney for you to close with. This process includes going through all of the final paperwork and signatures. Then off to your new property with your keys!
