The Ringling Museum

The Ringling Museum is located on the Sarasota Bay flaunting it’s gorgeous views. John Ringling was one of the brothers who owned and operated the circus titled, “The Greatest Show on Earth.” John Ringling and his wife, Mable, have a deep Sarasota history dating back to the early 1900’s. The Ringling features The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, The Circus Museum, The Historic Asolo Theatre, The beautiful Bayfront Gardens, and the Ca’D’Zan (John and Mable’s home). Docent guided tours are available (I recommend the tour of the Ca’D’Zan!) or you can guide yourself! The grounds and venues of the Ringling are extensive, so free tram rides are offered to help guests get around if you’re not up for the walking. Make a day of it as the Ringing has so much to offer! Between The Banyan Café, The Museum Café, or Muse at the Ringling, you can find the right snack or dining option. Or, even pack a lunch and sit along the bay or use the picnic facilities.
