Bayfront Park and Marina is located in downtown Sarasota near the Ringling Bridge. Walk or bike around the parks loop and see the gorgeous view of the bay and the many boats. At Bayfront Park, bring the kids to run around in the grassy open areas, throw a frisbee, play in the splash park (make sure to check the operating hours), or the playground. There are picnic tables and many areas to throw out a picnic blanket. Enjoy lunch or dinner at O’Leary’s Tiki Bar for a casual hangout spot with music and outdoor seating. Even bring the dogs! Or enjoy fancier dining at Marina Jacks. Rent a boat from the Freedom Boat Club and take it for a spin in the bay or become a member. Bayfront Park also has public restrooms, a canoe/kayak launch, and beautiful scenery. It’s a local favorite.
